PRAETERITIO
This series of images is based on true stories which I identified. I also relied on the writings of various clinical psychologists and psychopathology professors, as well as clinical studies and research.
I chose to produce pictures in which reality is intertwined with the artificiality of the staging within one specific instant of each of those tragic stories, while also avoiding to show their acme. I chose to represent either the moment just-before or the moment right-after. Indeed, this series is about suggesting what has just happened, and putting the pieces of these tragic – yet true – stories of infanticide back together.
